Faith in God's Power

I Corinthians 4:20 (GNB), "For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of words but of power. "  When we are born-again we are conveyed into the Kingdom of God.  This new Kingdom is one of power and victory.  Ours is not just the talk, but ours is now the walk of power.  I Corinthians 4:20 (MSG) says, "God's Way is not a matter of mere talk; it's an empowered life."  We are now to live an empowered life, living as overcomers in this life.

For us to live this new life of power and victory, we must learn how to release God's power into our life.  The key to this is found in Paul's letter to the Corinthians.  I Corinthians 2:5, "That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God."  God's power is always released through our act of faith.  Faith and power working together will always cause us to be victorious and overcomers.  The word faith here means assurance, belief, conviction, reliance.  This simply means that we are setting our trust and reliance on God's power and ability to get us through to the victory.

I encourage you to study the outline for, "Faith in God's Power" and get these truths into your heart and mind.  Learn how to release your faith to activate God's power in your life.  You can also download the message Faith in God's Power and let faith come to you by hearing the message.
