Christ's Second Coming

Luke 21:28 says, "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” What are you looking at? What has your attention? Whatever has our attention will usually control our attitudes and actions.  In Luke 21, the Lord Jesus is teaching us about all the things that will take place in the last days.  His advice and counsel to us is to not get caught up in the troubles but to keep our focus on His return.

I taught a series on End Time Events and one of the messages is about the second coming of Jesus and the rapture of the Church.  I believe this is a good time for us to re-study these notes and listen to this message.  Remember what Paul admonished us to do when he wrote to Titus and let these words direct your attitude and actions.  Titus 2:11-14, "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works."
